# MentorAgent > MentorAgent is a .NET library that puts an AI agent inside a Blazor or ASP.NET Core application: C# methods become tools, and on each one you declare which roles may use it and whether the user must confirm it first. The application runs on .NET; the front end can be the Blazor widget or your own UI in React, Angular, Vue or a mobile app. Apache License 2.0 (versions up to 1.0.0-rc.14: MIT license), distributed on NuGet as Novior.MentorAgent; up to 1.0.0-rc.15 the packages were called MentorAgent.*. Current version: 1.2.0 (stable, published on NuGet on 27 October 2026). Install it with: dotnet add package Novior.MentorAgent Requirements: .NET 10 on the server, in a Blazor Web App (Server or Auto render mode), a Blazor Hybrid (MAUI) app, or an ASP.NET Core app with the Novior.MentorAgent.Server package. The front end can be the Blazor widget or your own client over SignalR or HTTP (SSE): React, Angular, Vue, mobile apps. Other agents and MCP clients connect over A2A and MCP, served by the Novior.MentorAgent.Server package. Built on Microsoft Agent Framework 1.26.0. No AI provider SDK comes with the package: the application adds its own (for OpenAI, Microsoft.Extensions.AI.OpenAI). With Azure OpenAI and the Responses API, keep the OpenAI package at 2.10: from 2.11, GetResponsesClient() of Azure.AI.OpenAI 2.9.0-beta.1 fails at run time. This site presents the library.
